Rev. Dr. Cindy Parker

Senior Pastor

Cindy completed her undergraduate studies at Penn State University and received her Masters of Divinity from Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. While in Pittsburgh, she completed a year of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) at Family Hospice and Palliative Care. She was accepted into Chicago Theological Seminary’s Doctor of Ministry program with a focus on Homiletics (Preaching).

She finds joy in sharing her knowledge with others. Before her children were born, she was a Reading Specialist in the Dallas Independent School District. Cindy and her husband Larry, a Certified Master photographer, have five children. Cindy comes to The Bath Church from Church of the Red Rocks in Sedona, Arizona.

She also serves as a Spiritual Director for the Walk to Emmaus retreats and was part of the team that brought the Kairos Outside Ministry to Pennsylvania. Kairos, which means special time in Greek, is a prison ministry for women whose lives have been impacted by incarceration. Beyond ministry, she enjoys traveling the world with her family, cruising, hiking, reading, and playing all sorts of games.
