Plan Your Visit

Welcome

At The Bath Church, United Church of Christ, when we say “all,” we mean ALL! We believe that ALL people are beloved children of God. No exceptions, no conditions, no exclusions.

When we say “welcome”, we mean all people are welcome to participate fully in worship and in our activities and outreach. When we say “welcome,” we mean there is a place for you. Alone — or with your loved ones — you will find acceptance and a lived-out message of love and grace. When we say “welcome” we mean we want to partner with you in serving God and God’s people. Most of all, we mean ALL are welcome to join in this community of followers of Christ as we strive to “do justice, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God.” (Micah 6:8)

What else does a “Bath Church” welcome mean?

  • It means children and youth are a vital part of who we are. Kids can enjoy the Message for All God’s Children during the service, make use of the nursery or our “pray-ground”, or attend worship the entire service. Youth and children are encouraged as leaders of the church and teens are invited to participate in our bi-weekly youth group.

  • It means welcome to an inclusive table–at the Table of Holy Communion and the table of fellowship.

What do I wear?

Visitors are sometimes concerned about what to wear. The Bath Church is not a formal church. Dress comfortably but respectful of other church-goers.

Location

Conveniently located not far from I-77 but on a quiet 10-acre multi building campus, we look forward to you visiting us soon! When you enter our driveway you will see the Historic Chapel to your right, please pull around back for the main entrance.

Communion

Traditionally held on the first Sunday of the month, our church family practices open communion. All are welcome at the Lord’s Table, including children, regardless of denominational affiliation or church membership.

Child Care/Nursery

The Bath Church has paid nursery caregivers that watch children, infants-age 3, during worship. Parents pick up their children from the nursery after worship services conclude.
