Worship: 5:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary – check it out! We share the
same sermon theme as in the morning. Hymns words you can see
(without a large-print bulletins) projected on the screen. Casual
dress. Less formal liturgy. Try it you might just be surprised how
meaningful you will find it.

about the teen outreach program. This presentation is open to all

HOSPITALITY MINISTRY: Meeting of all those involved or
interested in the Greeter and Hospitality ministries at Bath Church
to enhance our welcome of guests. Thurs. Sept. 25, 7:30pm.

Christopher Lees! Fri., Sept. 26 – 7:30 PM Sanctuary.
Christopher is Associate Conductor- Akron Symphony Orchestra; Music
Director-Akron Youth Symphony; Director Of Orchestras-Kent State
University. A wonderful opportunity to hear great music. Come and
bring all your friends and neighbors to this community event!
Free-will offering.
o WCF Craft Nights:
Fri. Sept. 26. Community Room. Work on a project or learn a new
hobby. Bring a friend. $5.00 & a snack to share, beverages &
tableware provided. Drop in for an hour or for the whole evening.

WEDNESDAY SMALL GROUPS & Dinner

DINNER: 6:00 – 6:50 P.M. In Fellowship Hall. Eat and
Fellowship over Dinner whether or not you are
participating in a small group! Cost: donation.

Groups: Most small groups are still open to
newcomers. Check the list displayed in the narthex. New
Groups are still a possibility. Got an idea… a group you

Group: Pie Making! Discuss recipes and make pies in
the Fellowship Hall following dinner. Pies will be
frozen to sale in the fall Church Boutique. Wednesdays

and Spiritual Formation at Fuller Theological Seminary in Pasadena,

(especially) Jesus in an easy conversational way.

o FALL MISSION
APPEAL: This year’s Fall Mission Appeal will help the "Giving
Hope" Program which supports children from Africa affected by
HIV/AIDS and Airfare Assistance Fund which helps local families fly
their soldier home before or after deployment. More in depth
information about these worthy causes can be found in the Narthex.
o TREASURY NOTES:
We need more $$$ to support our ministry and mission (budget).

– With discussion of a 700
billion dollar bail out… I find it hard to be funny this week. Humor.
particular this kind of humor, seems trite in the midst of our current
national/global economic crisis. Hopefully Random Splash will return
next week.
