Royal Family
Kids’ Camp Update:
WE STILL
NEED VOLUNTEERS! |
|
We are very happy to report
that we have over 60 people who will be involved at the actual camp!
There are many, many others of you who are helping in other ways,
including financial. THANK YOU TO ALL OF YOU. We are, however, still
looking for people to fill the following positions:
q5
By being a Prayer Partner and praying
for 2 campers and 1 counselor. (We’ll send names.)
q6
By being one of 14 counselors. Training
dates will be Sunday April 29 and Saturday May 19.
q7
By helping with check-in and send-off on
Monday, July 30. This is a 2-3 hour commitment for that morning. You
will help check the kids in, help keep them entertained
(crafts/puzzles/games) while we wait for all the kids to arrive, and
see them off for the week at camp. We also need nurses at check-in.
q8
By helping with the Welcome Home dinner
for returning counselors and staff on Friday August 3rd.
q9
By providing a scholarship to send a
child to camp.
Full scholarship $375
or partial scholarship $_______
I will make this
donation by July 1, 2007. Please mark your envelope RFKC-Bath 2007.
Thank you!
Training Dates: For
those of you coming to camp, please mark the following training dates:
SUNDAY, APRIL 29, 10:30-4:00 and SATURDAY, MAY 19 from
8:30-1:00. If you are one of those people who won’t be
staying the week at camp but will be coming for either the birthday
party or our fishing day (including lunch) you will not be
required to come to the entire training (but are certainly welcome to if
you’d like!), but you will need to come to training on SUNDAY, APRIL
29.
ATTENTION: All that are
coming for training for Royal Family Kids’ Camp next Sunday, April 29,
please note that we are changing the start time from 10:00 to 10:30.
That will allow us to attend most of the Long Range Planning Committee
Forum scheduled for next Sunday. The time change will also help those of
you who are Sunday School teachers or attend Sunday morning classes. We
look forward to seeing all of you—including the Senior High youth who
will be attending—at the training. It is mandatory!!! Thanks to all of
you. |
