WELCOME

Welcome to The Bath Church on this Trinity Sunday when we celebrate God coming to us in Three Persons, Blessed Trinity. If you are a guest with us today, "Welcome!" We look forward to giving you a "Welcome Bag" as you leave the sanctuary so that you can become better acquainted with us. Thank you for coming to worship, and we hope that you will join us each Sunday.

PRELUDE: Blessed Assurance arr. C. Dobrinski

- As the Prelude begins, let us with silence prepare our hearts for worship -

p CALL TO WORSHIP:

Leader: The book of Revelation records the praise to God in the words:

People: "Holy, holy, holy, to the Lord God, the Almighty,

Who was and is and is to come."

Leader: May we give God our praise and thanks in this time of worship.

People: Almighty God, hear our voices and the love of our hearts as we give you our praise!

Leader: Let us celebrate our God who comes to us as Father, Son and Holy Spirit!

People: We rejoice that God comes to us in three persons, Blessed Trinity.

p HYMN OF PRAISE: Holy, Holy, Holy, Lord, God Almighty No. 136

p COMMUNITY PRAYER:

By the power and grace of the Blessed Trinity, may we banish from our hearts whatever might endanger peace; may we be transformed into witnesses for your truth and justice; may we be inspired to overcome the barriers that divide us from you and from one another; and may we see the glory of your Kingdom made known to us in the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

In silence we bring our personal prayers….

p SILENT PRAYER • PASSING GOD’S PEACE: "May the peace of Christ be with you."

p RESPONSE: Lord, We Lift Your Name on High No. 88

Lord, I lift your name on high. Lord. I love to sing your praises.

I’m so glad you’re in my life. I’m so glad you came to save us.

You came from heaven to earth to show the way, from the earth to the cross,

My debt to pay; from the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky,

Lord, I lift your name on high.

MAY is Mental Health Month

Mental Health Month was created more than 50 years ago to raise awareness about mental health conditions and the importance of mental wellness for all.  This year’s theme is focused on an essential component of maintaining and protecting mental health and wellness: social connectedness. The tagline for this year’s observance is "Get Connected." There are many ways of creating connections that support mental health:

    • Get connected to family and friends to feel close and supported.

    • Get connected to your community to feel a sense of belonging and purpose

    • Get connected to professional help to feel better when you’re stressed and having trouble coping.

Another way to get connected: Attend the HLSL
