CALL TO WORSHIP
Leader: On this night when we remember the Last
Supper our Lord had with his disciples before his betrayal and
crucifixion, we remember it was the religious festival of the
Passover they were celebrating in remembrance of what God had done
for the people.
People: As we come to the Lord’s Table in
remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection, let us remember and
give thanks for what God has done for us.

Please come forward to the table, take a piece of bread and
a cup. You may partake at the table and then return to your seat or move to
the side to kneel or pause in prayer before returning to your seat. Come as
the Spirit moves you.
PRAYER OF THANKSGIVING (unison):
We give you thanks for this sacred bread and cup and for
the gift of Jesus they represent. Strengthen our faith, bring us closer
to Jesus, fill us with overwhelming gratitude for your gift of love and
saving grace. We are your beloved children. We lift up to you our love
and praise. In the name of our blessed savior, Jesus Christ, we pray.

EASTER VIGIL
Friday-Saturday, March 21-23 in the Historic Chapel
The traditional Easter Vigil will be held beginning at
9:00pm Good Friday night through 8:00am on Easter Sunday. Two people will
keep watch during this darkest time of the Christian year – from Christ’s
death on the cross to the announcement of his resurrection.

EASTER SUNDAY SUNRISE
March 23 – 6:00am at Mt. Zion Baptist, 327 Cuyahoga St.,
Akron – Rev. Frey preaching
Bath Church will join with its Inter-Racial Partner Church
for the traditional Sunrise Service to welcome the good news of Jesus’
resurrection from the dead. Breakfast will immediately follow the service.
EASTER SUNDAY WORSHIP
March 23 – 8:30am & 11:00am
The Sanctuary will be decorated with flowers as the church
heralds the news
"Alleluia! Jesus Christ is Risen!" The worship services
will be full of song and joy.
