p HYMN OF PRAISE: Great is the Lord

p COMMUNITY PRAYER
Jesus, I
love you and thank you that you love me.
Jesus, you called
everyone to live a life different than the culture of your time.
Is your message
the same for me in this time and place?
If so, wow, that
is really hard.
Help me to resist
the pressures to live the values of the culture.
Give me to a
tender heart and a tough mind that I may love as I am loved by you.
For all of your
gifts to me, I am grateful, and praise your holy name. Amen.
In silence we
bring our prayers of confession….
p PASSING GOD’S PEACE: "May the peace of
Christ be with you."
p RESPONSE: Lord, We Lift Your Name on
High No. 88
Lord, I lift
your name on high. Lord. I love to sing your praises.
I’m so glad
you’re in my life. I’m so glad you came to save us.
You came from
heaven to earth to show the way, from the earth to the cross,
My debt to
pay; from the cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky,
Lord, I lift
your name on high.

WCF is excited to
announce the dates of our 2008 Bath Church Boutique. This event is a
revitalization of our beloved Country Fair and will be held on October
24-25, 2008. We will be continuing all the things we love such as our
fabulous items from the Crafty Ladies, the wonderful lunch, the book sale
and of course the bake sale. We will be adding a few new guest artists and
refreshing the layout. We are looking for someone (men included) to co-chair
this event. As you know, the money raised at our fair is used to make
wonderful things happen. This year Royal Family Kids’ Camp and our new
portable sound system are just a few of the items we were able to donate.
Please prayerfully consider taking a role in the continuation of a Bath
Church tradition with a twist. If you would like more information, please
contact Danielle Cadnum at 330.239.0571 or
daniellecadnum@yahoo.com.
