Please remain seated for this carol. As the organ plays "Silent Night" our candles will be lit. Please tip the unlit candle into the flame of the lit taper and so pass on the light to the one next to you. Do not tip your candle once it is lit. We ask that small children not be given candles of their own, but share one with an adult. When you blow out your candle, do not tip your candle until the wax has solidified. At the end of the service, please place the candles in the boxes at the exits. Please take care not to drip hot wax on yourself, your neighbor, the pews or the floor.
