WELCOME
Welcome to The Bath Church
on this Sunday in Easter! We especially welcome those who are guests
with us today. We look forward to giving you a "Welcome Bag" as you
leave the sanctuary so that you can become better acquainted with us.
Thank you for coming to worship, and we hope that you will join us each
Sunday.

over all the earth.

the abundance of life through God our Savior.

p
HYMN OF PRAISE: Fairest Lord Jesus No. 123
p
COMMUNITY PRAYER:
Almighty God, may we, like
the early disciples, experience among us the presence of the Risen
Christ. May we be filled with awe at the miracle of resurrection. May we
be amazed at the grace that restores us after we have fallen. May we be
inspired by the challenge that sends us out as messengers of hope in a
hurting world. This we pray in Jesus’ name. Amen.
In silence we bring
our personal prayers….
p
SILENT PRAYER • PASSING GOD’S PEACE: "May the peace of Christ be with
you."
p
RESPONSE: Lord I Lift Your Name on High No. 88
Lord, I lift your name on
high. Lord. I love to sing your praises.
I’m so glad you’re in my
life. I so glad you came to save us.
You came from heaven to
earth to show the way, from the earth to the cross,
My debt to pay; from the
cross to the grave, from the grave to the sky,
Lord, I lift your name on
high.

SCRIPTURE READING: Mark 10:
13-16
13 People
were bringing little children to him in order that he might touch them;
and the disciples spoke sternly to them.
14But
when Jesus saw this, he was indignant and said to them, ‘Let the little
children come to me; do not stop them; for it is to such as these that
the kingdom of God belongs.
15Truly
I tell you, whoever does not receive the kingdom of God as a little
child will never enter it.’
16And
he took them up in his arms, laid his hands on them, and blessed them.
